Hope you’re all somewhere cozy, safe and sane.

Took me half an hour to get from Alderwood Freddy’s to the Lynnwood transit center.

The transit center by the Black Angus by 44th? That place area is a total nightmare in traffic. Not to mention the mall traffic coming from 200th...

Ouch! I got stuck in it around noon, but going home was a breeze.

I wasn’t too upset, I was just happy to leave Bellevue. I’m beginning to think that everyone some percentage greater than zero lives there is a horrible human being. I actually told a customer today, after listening to him tell me how I don’t know anything about Bellevue code, “Well I do this for a living, but if you think you know better then by all means, continue.”

It took me about 20 minutes, including stopping for barbecue. Was tough.

Left the office at 1, home by 1:15, laid on the horn at a lady in a Sentra who dawdled at a light and almost made me miss it (distracted driving is legal and even encouraged here, as far as I can tell). Another normal day in Bellevue. I can see NB 405 from my window, looks OK, but from this angle I can’t see SB.
The terrible to OK people ratio here is probably 50:50 at best, depends on the neighborhood. On that note, I saw a Range Rover Sport using turn signals, I almost fell over.

Fuck, really? “Bellevue code” what is that shit?

In this case I mean a safety or building code unique to the city of Bellevue.

Lol. This woman in Brier — years ago — when I had to tell her we wouldn’t install something that was unsafe: “I have owned SEVEN homes so I know what’s safe and not safe! I had this SAME thing in my house in Boulder and no one said anything about it!” Ohhhh SEVEN homes? Compared to say the thousands I work in every year? UGH.

Oh glorious space crab. Bellevue suffers from an over inflated self image brought on by redonkulous wages and a lack of common sense. I eork in it every day and i have just about lost my faith in the intelligence of strangers.
